Rostrum recorded vote
A formal named ballot in which MPs vote at the rostrum or in adjoining rooms when special rules apply.
The scrutin public à la tribune is a formal recorded-vote procedure used in particular constitutional circumstances or for certain qualified majorities. MPs cast identifiable ballots under the supervision of officers of the Assembly. The result and named analysis are published according to the rule governing the decision.
A motion of no confidence is decided using the formal procedure required for that constitutional vote.
A rostrum recorded vote is named and public; a secret rostrum ballot used for appointments is different.
