CIVIX · partial prerender

Recorded vote

A vote whose result and each participating MP’s recorded position are officially published.

A scrutin public records how each MP voted for, against or by abstaining, subject to the official categories used by the Assembly. It may be requested or required under parliamentary rules and can take several forms. The published analysis allows CIVIX to present individual positions without inferring them.

A political group requests a recorded vote on a key amendment, and the individual positions are published.

A debate being public does not mean every vote in it produces a named voting record.
