Questions to the Government

Questions to the Government are an immediate and public form of parliamentary scrutiny. Speaking time is organised among political groups, and ministers answer questions in the chamber. The exchange is recorded and broadcast but does not itself lead to a legislative vote or automatically engage the Government's responsibility.
