Member’s amendment

A member's amendment is an exercise of the parliamentary right of amendment. It must meet financial, legislative and procedural admissibility rules and is debated and voted on at the appropriate stage. Adoption incorporates its wording into the text; rejection leaves the existing wording unchanged.
