Identical amendments

Amendments tabled by different authors that propose exactly the same change to the text.

Identical amendments have the same operative wording despite separate numbers and authors. They are grouped in the order of consideration to avoid repeating the same debate, and their parliamentary outcome is linked because the proposed change is identical. CIVIX may display each author while explaining the shared wording.

Four groups separately table the same deletion, so the amendments are considered together.

Amendments discussed together are not necessarily identical if their operative wording differs.
