Conference of Presidents
The National Assembly body that coordinates parliamentary business, speaking time and the scheduling of major votes.
The Conference of Presidents brings together the President of the Assembly, vice-presidents, political-group and committee chairs, the general rapporteur and a Government representative. It prepares the order of business, organises speaking time and may schedule formal votes. It organises proceedings but does not pass legislation itself.
The Conference schedules a formal vote for Tuesday and allocates time for the debate.
It includes more than political-group chairs and does not vote on bills for the Assembly.
